Secure Shredding Services

BCDM has a range of secure shredding solutions available for your confidential waste management needs. Whether it’s a one off requirement or a regular service we’ll tailor a solution to meet your needs.

All secure shredding services are delivered in accordance with BS EN 15713. A Certificate of Destruction is issued following shredding and Waste Transfer Documentation provided. All waste paper and card is recycled into new paper products such as office paper, tissues and packaging.

Sacks & Boxes

Whether your confidential waste is already boxed up, in sacks or if you are yet to pack it ready for collection and shredding we can help. We will happily collect the sacks that you already have (our drivers will seal and tag them on collection).

If you need sacks, no problem, add them when you place your order, or, if you are unsure how many you need request a sample sack by clicking here.

Pricing for sacks and boxes is available by clicking through to our Collect & Shred product page. Once there, simply use the drop down to select the quantity of boxes or sacks and see the corresponding price.

Secure Bins & Cabinets

If you produce confidential waste on a regular basis, one of our secure bins or cabinets may be better suited to your needs.

We have a wide range of confidential waste receptacles available, from standard designs to customised to match your existing interior.

Service visits can be made on demand as required or on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly schedule. Our drivers will empty your bins/cabinets sealing and bar code tagging the confidential waste to ensure a full audit trail.

Pricing depends upon your location, the number of bins/cabinets required and the service frequency. Please use the contact form to get in touch and we’ll provide you with a tailored quote.

Off-Site vs. On-Site Shredding

While on-site shredding has been popular for a number of years off-site shredding, when done properly has a number of advantages, importantly:

  • Greener – smaller vehicles will make a greater number of services visits, cutting down on pollution.
  • Noise – many office buildings now ban on-site shredding trucks due to the noise that they make while operational.

Some people have concerns over the security of their confidential waste if it isn’t shredded on-site. Such concerns are understandable, however BCDM specialises in handling processing confidential data in all formats, whether that be for shredding, secure storage, scanning or data recovery. We have many years of experience without a single incident of lost confidential waste.
